Nikon Coolpix A300 20 MP Point & Shoot Digital Camera, Black
I AM SHARE WORTHY. Take superb shots on the go with the slender and stylish COOLPIX A300. It’s small and light enough to slip in a pocket or bag, so you’re always ready to shoot close-ups of friends and family with its 8x optical/16x Dynamic Fine Zoom. You'll take share-worthy high resolution...
I honestly don't know how any other review could give this camera 1 star. Sure, it isn't the best camera, but it's a CHEAP camera! I bought this camera so I could review it on my youtube channel. At first, I was skeptical, and I didn't expect much. After taking a few shots, I was afraid I had made a bad choice. However, I know that cameras aren't that simple, so I decided to try a few different options. After playing around with the camera a little bit, I was able to get some amazing shots! This is not a bad camera! It is an amazing camera for this price! I disagree that the average smartphone camera is any better than this camera. Even though some of the newer smartphones may be able to compete, this camera is still amazing! You can take great pictures if you know what you are doing! Even if you don't know what you are doing, once you get used to the camera, your pictures will look beautiful!I will try to upload some of my photos in a few minutes.
I purchased this camera in May, 2017. It is now October, 2017 and it has already quit working. I have owned other Nikon Coolpix cameras and they have lasted much longer than this one. I think this dealer is selling defective merchandise.
My P60 finally stopped holding a memory card in place. Still takes shots with the internal memory but that is a very limited number. Went to the A300 after reading a lot of reviews. The seller described a bare bones purchase but it came in original packaging incl a manual. Much smaller than the one it replaced and a very different method of accessing modes, etc, but not hard to get used to at all. Photos are very sharp. Only thing I miss is the viewfinder option.
